Pascal Gross netted a 90+3 penalty goal to force Liverpool to hold a 1-1 draw against Brighton in the 10th round of the Premier League.

Liverpool went top of the league, though they won’t feel like celebrating after a frustrating afternoon at the Amex Stadium. It was another VAR special, with two Brighton penalties and two disallowed goals for Liverpool. There were the usual injuries too - Maupay, Lallana and Milner all had to go off.

gave Liverpool the lead in the 60th minute after a lovely play from Robertson and Salah before Jota cut inside, dribbled past his man and slotted into the bottom corner.

Pascal Gross netted the equalizer for Brighton after he stepped up and smashed the penalty straight down the middle to snatch a late leveller.

Sadio Mane netted the second for Liverpool after Robertson's free-kick was headed home by Mane

The VAR disallowed the goal for an offside on Mane, as he moved too early and was clearly offside when the free-kick was taken.

Brighton missed a penalty in the 21st minute when stepped up, sent Alisson the wrong way and put it a good foot past the post.

Fourteen minutes later, Mohamed Salah scored the opening goal for the Reds with a finish into the turf that bounced over Ryan and in, but the Video Assistant Referee disallowed the goal due to an offside on the Egyptian star and back to 0-0 we go.

Egyptian Star Mohamed Salah sounded unhappy after Liverpool's head coach Jurgen Klopp replaced him with Sadio Mane, during the Reds' clash against Brighton.

Footages showed Salah feeling unhappy as he did nit even look at Jurgen Klopp as he passed him on the touchline.
