The Administration of International Students at Helwan University announced that it will offer 30 scholarships for the students from Africa, Asia and Latin America, with a 50% down payment.
On his part, Dr. Maged Negm, University’s president, said that the scholarships program in the past year has achieved remarkable success, especially in the African countries, where it has generated wide interest from many representatives of African countries from ambassadors and attachés as well as cultural and community representatives from different African countries.
On other hand, the administration made plans to increase the number of foreign students coming from China, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia as well as countries from Latin America.
Dr. Iman Abdul Jawad, director of the Administration explained that the number of scholarships awarded during the academic year 2019-2020 will increase to 30, 20 for African countries, 5 for Asia and 5 for Latin American countries, in addition to offering various programs with down payments for the international students.
