Egypt's Ministers were keen to take part on the first day of parliamentary elections, kicked off earlier today Saturday at 9:00 am.
Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance cast his vote at Khaled bin Waleed school in the 6th of October city.
Maait asserted that without the political stability witnessed by Egypt nowadays, economic progress would not have been achieved, and we would not have succeeded in implementing economic reforms that made the national economy able to face internal and external challenges.
On the other hand, Social Solidarity Minister Nivine El-Qabbage cast her ballot at National Research Center in Dokki.
On her part, El-Qabbage said that participating in the electoral process is a 'national duty', calling on citizens to choose their right MP.
The minister underscored citizens’ abiding by anti-coronavirus precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the safety of voters and workers inside the polling stations.
It is worth mentioning that, the first stage of the parliamentary elections kicked off earlier today Saturday, across all Egyptian governorates.
The National Elections Authority coordinates with the concerned government agencies to secure the election process.
Police forces are deployed in the streets, while the Interior Ministry raised the level of preparedness to secure the election process.
The re-runs of the first stage will be held for Egyptians abroad from November 21 to 23 and in Egypt on November 24 and 25.
