The parliamentary election candidates are preparing for their election campaigns as the electoral campaigning period of the second stage is kicking off today, Monday.
The campaigning period continues until November 1, during this period, the candidates will present their electoral programs to the voters and convince them of it.
The National Elections Authority (NEA), chaired by Counselor Lashin Ibrahim, announced, Sunday, the start of the electoral silence within the first stage of the parliamentary elections, as Egyptians abroad are set to cast their ballots next Wednesday.
Earlier, Egyptian expats began to register their data on the official website of the National Elections Authority ahead of the parliamentary elections, so that they can vote via mail.
Meanwhile, the NEA announced that the first stage of the elections will kick off for Egyptians abroad from October 21 to 23 while it will kick off in Egypt on October 25 and 26.
The re-runs of the first stage will be held for Egyptians abroad from November 21 to 23 and in Egypt on November 24 and 25.
