General Secretariat of the House of Representatives, headed by Secretary-General Chancellor Ahmed Manna, announced that it will begin receiving members declared winners by the National Elections Authority in the 2026/2031 parliamentary elections for both the individual and list systems starting next Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Reception will take place from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Parliament's new headquarters in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) for the issuance of membership IDs according to the following schedule:
On Sunday, January 4, 2026, members representing the governorates of Cairo, Qalyubia, Dakahlia, and Monufia will be received.
On Monday, January 5, 2026, the Secretariat will welcome members from the governorates of Gharbia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, New Valley, and Sohag.
On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, reception will conclude with members from the governorates of Qena, Luxor, Aswan, Red Sea, Sharqia, Damietta, Port Said, Ismailia, Suez, North Sinai, South Sinai, Alexandria, Beheira, and Matrouh.
