Official Spokesperson of Egypt’s House of Representatives Salah Hasaballah lauded the nomination of President Sisi to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, stressing that the Egyptian president has sought to resolve various conflicts.
“President Sisi deserves this nomination thanks to his international stances that seek to boost peace in the Middle East and avoid conflicts worldwide,” Hasaballah told SEE on Thursday.

In exclusive statements to SEE News, the incumbent president of Freedom Party added that “The nomination of Sisi to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize comes as a result of his wise leadership that has urged the United Nations to confront terrorism and its sponsoring states and bodies.”
The Federation of North African Parliaments nominated Wednesday Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, South Sudan President Silva Kiir and President of Sudan Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan for the Nobel Peace Prize following the signing of the Sudanese peace agreement in Juba.
The privately-owned al-Masry al-Youm said a member of the Egyptian Parliament and speaker of the Federation of North African Parliaments, Mostafa Al-Gendi, welcomed the signing of the Sudanese peace agreement in Juba and said Sisi, Kiir, and al-Burhan deserve Nobel Peace Prize.
