On Tuesday, a school in the town of Beit Ummar in the West Bank was subjected to an assault by Israeli occupation forces, resulting in numerous injuries among Palestinian female students.

According to the Wafa News Agency, Israeli forces stormed the town and targeted the courtyard of Zahra Al-Mada'in Primary School with a barrage of toxic gas canisters while students were present. The attack led to inhalation-related issues for several teachers and dozens of students.

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces conducted incursions into various areas within the West Bank, resulting in the reported killing, injuries, and detentions of Palestinians.

Furthermore, a group of Israeli settlers, accompanied by heavily armed Israeli occupation police, entered the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque. The settlers carried out provocative tours and engaged in Talmudic rituals within the mosque's courtyards. These incursions are part of ongoing efforts to assert control over the religious site and impose a new status quo.

The intrusion coincides with the approaching Jewish holidays, starting with Rosh Hashanah, the "Jewish New Year," on September 16 and 17. Subsequently, during the "Ten Days of Repentance," such incursions are expected to escalate. Yom Kippur, the "Day of Atonement," falls on September 25, followed by Sukkot, the "Feast of Tabernacles," from September 30 to October 7.
