Palestinian Red Crescent: Israel Targets Medical Centers. Gaza Receives Only 10% of Basic Needs

The official in the Palestinian Red Crescent, Abdul Jalil Hanjal, confirmed that “the health situation in the Gaza Strip is very difficult in all aspects.

The medical official warns that the Strip suffers from a dire shortage of ambulance services, hospitals, or even caring for the displaced in all areas, as the incoming aid is not sufficient for more than 10% of the needs of the Gazans ".

Hangel explained in an interview with Sputnik Radio, “There is a complete interruption of health care in the northern Gaza Strip, and all hospitals and medical centers are out of service as a result of the Israeli army’s attacks there.”

He stressed that "the Palestinian Red Crescent had a newly established medical point, but the Israeli army surrounded it, destroyed it, and arrested everyone in it, before releasing some at a later time."

Hangel revealed that "the south of the Gaza Strip is not in a better condition than the north, as 22 hospitals and medical centers have gone out of service out of 35, while the rest of the centers are operating with the minimum level of service provision due to the interruption of all emergency supplies, fuel, and other basics of life."
