Jordanian King Abdullah II and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stressed the need to intensify efforts to de-escalate the situation in the region and achieve a comprehensive ceasefire.
This came during a phone call the Jordanian monarch received from the Palestinian president, during which they discussed the strong fraternal relations and developments in Gaza and the West Bank.
King Abdullah II also received a phone call from Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun.
