Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to arrive in Cairo today, Wednesday, for an official visit.
"President Mahmoud Abbas will arrive in Cairo, Wednesday, on an official visit," Palestinian Ambassador to Cairo Diab al-Louh announced.
In the same vein, Al-Louh hailed Egypt's leadership and people who stand with the Palestinian citizens and support their major cause.
He also stressed the depth of the close relations between the two countries, noting that they believe in the importance of unity.
Moreover, the ambassador said Abbas and Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi are seeking to build a promising future for upcoming generations in Egypt and Palestine.
This visit comes days after Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh announced holding of a tripartite summit in Cairo between Jordan, Egypt and Palestine.
