Palestinian Prime Minister (PM) Mohammad Mustafa stressed the urgent need to halt Israel’s violations of international law, including the policy of starvation in the Gaza Strip, the ongoing closure of border crossings, as well as annexation plans, colonial expansion, and forced displacement in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
He also condemned Israel’s continued withholding of Palestinian tax revenues and the illegal deductions imposed on them.
This came during a meeting on Sunday at his office in Ramallah with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, to discuss the importance of intensifying international efforts to end the war on Gaza and address the ongoing violations by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
The meeting was attended by Palestinian Foreign Minister Farsin Shahin, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
Mustafa expressed appreciation for Denmark’s steadfast position on the two-state solution, its endorsement of the New York Conference document, and its consistent support for Palestine.
For his part, Danish Foreign Minister (FM) Rasmussen reaffirmed Denmark’s firm stance in support of the two-state solution, the need to end the war on Gaza, reopen border crossings, and allow the entry of humanitarian aid.
