Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Farsin Aghabekian, has firmly rejected any attempt to forcibly displace the Palestinian people from their homeland.

In an interview with the Arabic-language service of China’s CGTN on Tuesday, Aghabekian stressed that the Palestinian leadership unequivocally rejects all displacement plans. “The Palestinian people will not accept being uprooted from their land under any circumstances,” she said.

She emphasized that the Palestinian Authority (PA) remains in constant coordination with Arab nations regarding the future of Gaza. Aghabekian noted that the PA contributed to the post-war plan adopted at the most recent Arab League summit.

The Minister said that despite Israel’s continued non-compliance with a ceasefire, the Palestinian leadership is actively pursuing political and diplomatic efforts to reinstate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

Aghabekian also highlighted the ministry’s international outreach campaign to rally global support for halting Israeli aggression and delivering humanitarian aid to both Gaza and the West Bank.

She warned that Israeli actions in the West Bank are equally alarming, stating that more than 40,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from northern West Bank refugee camps alone.

The minister’s remarks reflect growing concern within Palestinian leadership over the humanitarian crisis in both Gaza and the West Bank amid ongoing Israeli military operations.
