Yesterday, Thursday, Israeli troops killed 10 Palestinians, wounded and arrested others, in the largest attack on the Jenin camp in the northern West Bank, in years.
The occupation sources said the Israeli army targeted an “armed cell” in the camp, which turned into an open battlefield.
And the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the outcome of the Israeli attack on Jenin camp "was 9 martyrs, including an elderly woman, and 20 injuries, including 4 in serious condition," while it was reported that a Palestinian was killed outside the camp by Israeli soldiers' bullets.
And the Palestinian leadership decided to stop security coordination with Israel, and the spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said in a press conference that the Palestinian leadership considers that security coordination “no longer exists from now on.”
The decision came during an emergency meeting of the Palestinian leadership, chaired by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, after the attack on Jenin. Abu Rudeineh added, while members of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization ( PLO) and the Central Committee of the Fatah movement were sitting next to him: “We consider security coordination with the Israeli occupation government to no longer exist.
