The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah stated in its daily update on Monday that at least 22,835 people have been killed in the besieged enclave since the war between Israel and Hamas erupted on October 7.

The ministry noted that about one in every 100 people in Gaza has been killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the crowded strip.

It added that 58,416 people have been injured, which means more than one in 40 Gazans have now been wounded in the conflict.

Since October 7, the Gaza Strip has witnessed a horrific humanitarian crisis due to cutting off electricity, fuel, and water services, at a time when many different UN organizations confirm that the humanitarian aid that has reached the Strip so far is very small compared to the size of the emergency.
