The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,439 martyrs and 171,324 wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.
In a statement issued Wednesday, according to the Palestinian News Agency WAFA, the ministry reported that 15 martyrs arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours, including two new fatalities and 13 bodies that were recovered. A number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets.
Rescue and ambulance crews have been unable to reach them so far. The ministry clarified that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 449, the total number of injuries to 1,246, and 710 bodies have been recovered.
