The Palestinian foreign ministry called on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to "issue subpoenas and arrest warrants" following the deaths of civilians who were awaiting aid in northern Gaza on Wednesday.

In a statement, the Palestinian foreign ministry accused Israel of violating the ICJ's provisional order, which said it must take effective measures to enable the provision of basic services and humanitarian aid.

Gaza's Health Ministry said earlier that more than 100 people were killed and hundreds of others were injured.

Furthermore, Qatar's foreign ministry condemned the incident as a "heinous massacre committed by the Israeli occupation."

The Ministry also affirmed the need for the international community to shoulder its moral and legal responsibilities to oblige the Israeli occupation to comply with international law.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden said the incident would complicate cease-fire talks.
