The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club announced on Saturday the death of wounded detainee Marwan Fathi Hussein Harzallah from Nablus in Megiddo Prison.
In a joint statement carried by the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Commission and the Club indicated that Harzallah had been arrested on January 8.
In a related incident, a young Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that a 21-year-old man from the town of Yatta in Hebron was shot by Israeli occupation forces while he was near the separation wall built on land belonging to the town of Al-Ram.
