Dr. Ashraf Al Qedra, the spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, thanked Egypt for its role in hosting and treating a number of injured Palestinians, adding that this move is highly appreciated.
Al Qedra added that Israel prevented the exit of the injured and the patients from the hospitals to move to the Rafah border crossing to be treated in Egypt.
The Palestinian official highlighted that this step allowed the exit of dozens of patients, and more steps are needed to treat hundreds of critically wounded patients, or patients who need special treatments or care that are not available currently in the Gaza Strip.
