The State of Palestine has requested an extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent representatives. This follows the resumption of Israel, the occupying power, of its crimes of aggression, genocide, and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people, which have left more than 400 martyrs and hundreds wounded in the Gaza Strip since dawn today.
The State of Palestine's representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, said in a statement on Tuesday that the session will discuss Arab and international action to compel Israel to halt its crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people and comply with international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
