The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said: “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his leaders are deliberately replacing the crime of forced displacement with the concept of voluntary migration to evade accountability, in accordance with international law.”

The ministry added in a statement issued today, Thursday, “The international community and all countries must notice and realize the true desire that the Palestinian citizen expresses daily to return to his home, despite its destruction.

The Ministry warned of the attempts of the Israeli government and its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to promote and market the concept of voluntary immigration for our people in the Gaza Strip, to hide the crime of forced displacement imposed by the occupation forces directly or indirectly on the Gaza Strip, by creating climates and an environment that repel Gazans.

Added in a statement that our people are subjected not only to genocide, but also to forced displacement, and the alleged voluntary migration does not exist in its dictionary. Here we are reminded of what Netanyahu said from the first day of the war, when he demanded that the residents of the Gaza Strip leave the Strip, revealing his intentions, plans and goals that he has been implementing throughout the 90s. A day of aggression embodied on the ground.

The ministry added in a statement : What is the meaning of preventing citizens from returning to the northern Gaza Strip and killing large numbers of those who tried to return to their homes and areas? What is the meaning of depriving them of all their basic humanitarian needs and aid and preventing them from reaching the northern Gaza Strip, and what is the meaning of destroying all shelter centres, hospitals and homes that provide any level of services to citizens, destroying markets and shops, leveling areas to the ground and destroying all components of human life on them? Isn't this a practical translation of what Netanyahu said early on regarding the displacement of Palestinians?

Stressed that what our people are exposed to, and the de facto imposed by the occupation war on Gaza, is forced displacement, through which the citizen is forced to leave his home under the risk of bombing and killing, in an attempt to protect his family, if there is one, noting that hundreds of displaced people have gone to areas declared by the occupation army to be safe. They were killed by the bombing.
