On Thursday, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the United Arab Emirates on a two-day official visit.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday that Sharif visited the UAE at the invitation of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to Pakistani Geo news channel, the premier is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including key members of the cabinet.
This is the prime minister’s third visit to the UAE after assuming office.
Sharif will meet the UAE president and hold discussions with a particular focus on advancing economic, trade and investment ties between the two countries, and creating more job opportunities for the Pakistani workforce in the UAE.
The two leaders will exchange views on a range of regional and global issues of mutual interest.
During his visit to the UAE, Sharif will meet Emirati Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
