Pakistani Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif expressed his appreciation for the support provided by several brotherly and friendly nations within the framework of efforts aimed at reaching a ceasefire and advancing the diplomatic path toward a comprehensive resolution of the conflict.

Coinciding with the launch of the Islamabad talks, Sharif stated that his country values the significant and comprehensive support from Egypt, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Qatar, noting that this backing has helped create an environment conducive to peaceful solutions.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, emphasizing that their continuous commitment to supporting peace and stability represents a fundamental pillar in efforts to contain escalation.

Moreover, Pakistani PM pointed out that the positions of these brotherly nations—specifically highlighting the strategic role of partners like Egypt—along with the support of the United States, reflected a great deal of wisdom and vision in prioritizing peaceful alternatives.

Furthermore, he simultaneously affirmed his country's appreciation for all international partners who have supported Islamabad's endeavors to achieve peace.

Sharif concluded his remarks by calling for the unification of international efforts to establish a lasting peace in the region and across the globe.
