The Deputy Prime Minister (PM) and Foreign Minister (FM) of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a phone call, on Saturday, with Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to discuss developments in the regional situation and exchange views on the broader economic implications.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar emphasized Islamabad's ongoing efforts to promote constructive engagement and diplomacy in support of peace and stability, both within the region and beyond.
The two ministers underscored the strong, brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait and agreed to maintain close contact.
For his part, Kuwaiti FM praised Pakistan's sincere efforts aimed at promoting lasting peace and security for the Muslim Ummah and the wider international community.
