Pakistani Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif announced that the federal cabinet has officially approved Pakistan's accession to the "Board of Peace" regarding Gaza.
Pakistani PM shared this development during a press briefing in London.
Moreover, Sharif expressed his hope for the swift establishment of peace in Gaza, emphasizing that the Palestinian people will ultimately secure their rights with respect and dignity, Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday.
It is worth mentioning that, Pakistani PM had previously joined several world leaders in signing the Charter of the Board of Peace, which was launched by U.S. President Donald Trump during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The Board of Peace, established late last year under Trump’s comprehensive plan for Gaza, aims to serve as a multilateral platform to resolve conflicts and promote stability worldwide.
