Pakistani Amb. Meets Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Reaffirms Commitment to Sports Co-op

Ambassador of Pakistan to Egypt, H.E. Aamir Shouket, called on H.E. Gohar Nabil, Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, to present Pakistan made official ball “Trionda” for the World Cup and to discuss avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of sports.

During the meeting, Ambassador Shouket presented a Pakistan-made official Match ball “Trionda” to the Minister as a token of friendship and support for the Egyptian national football team ahead of the FIFA World Cup games.

He conveyed best wishes from the leadership and propel of Pakistan for the team’s success and expressed confidence in Egypt’s strong performance on the global stage.

The two sides exchanged views on promoting sports diplomacy and explored opportunities for cooperation in sports development, including the exchange of expertise, technical knowledge, training programs, and institutional collaboration between Pakistan and Egypt.

Ambassador Shouket reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties with Egypt through enhanced people-to-people contacts and collaboration in sports, recognizing its role in fostering friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries.
