Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar discussed regional developments, particularly the progress in talks between the United States and Iran, during a telephone call today (Saturday) with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis.
During the call, both sides welcomed what they described as the "encouraging progress" toward an understanding between Washington and Tehran, expressing their hope that the ongoing efforts would contribute to strengthening stability and peace in the region in the coming period.
They also agreed to keep communication channels open and continue close coordination regarding the rapidly evolving situation.
