Pakistan has dispatched a new shipment of humanitarian assistance to Gaza, as directed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The aid, organized by the National Disaster Management Authority in cooperation with the Services Institute, includes 100 tons of relief supplies.

According to a statement from the Pakistani Embassy in Cairo, a chartered aircraft carrying the aid landed at Al-Arish International Airport on Saturday.

Officials from the embassy received the shipment and handed it over to the Egyptian Red Crescent for delivery to Palestinians in Gaza.

Pakistan has been consistently providing humanitarian support to Gaza. With this latest delivery, the total aid sent by the Pakistani government and people has reached 1,915 tons.

Additional shipments are scheduled to be delivered to residents inside Gaza in the coming days.
