Pakistan's Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced that his country is ready to buy Russian fuel at the price supplied to India.
The minister said, quoting the newspaper "News" of Pakistan: "Pakistan is ready to buy fuel from Russia at the prices at which it is supplied to neighboring India."
On September 2, the G7 finance ministers and central bank heads announced a unanimous decision on capping Russian oil prices.
The finance ministers of the G7 confirmed, earlier, a plan to impose a price ceiling on Russian oil; they called on all countries to join this initiative.
The US Treasury stated that it will impose sanctions on companies that will buy Russian oil at a price higher than the specified maximum, after setting a ceiling on its purchase price.
