Pakistan continues its mediation efforts, with Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visiting Tehran on Saturday to meet with Iranian officials in an attempt to overcome obstacles in the negotiating process, according to the Iranian News Agency.
This comes as relations between Washington and Tehran witness a new escalation following the US Central Command's targeting of Iranian radar sites on Qeshm Island and the Goruk area.
US Central Command stated that the strikes were conducted in self-defense against potential further attacks, while the US military also shot down four drones launched toward the Strait of Hormuz.
