Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, to discuss the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the dire humanitarian situation affecting millions of Palestinians.
During the call, Senator Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and expressed full solidarity with Egypt in its efforts to address the crisis. He also conveyed Pakistan’s support for convening an Extraordinary Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers to deliberate on the worsening situation.
Both leaders underscored the urgent need for coordinated international efforts to provide humanitarian relief and alleviate the suffering of those affected by the conflict. They agreed to maintain close contact and continue consultations in the coming days.
