Eleven coal miners were killed and 3 others were injured in an armed attack in the Bolan district of Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, local police said, according to Samaa TV channel.
Deputy Commissioner of Bolan Murad Kasi said that the attack took place at night, explaining that unidentified gunmen kidnapped the workers, then killed them after taking them to a remote area.
The investigation into the incident is underway. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
