More than 370 US service members have been wounded during ongoing military operations against Iran, according to US media reports Monday citing the US Central Command (CENTCOM).

CENTCOM confirmed that 373 troops were injured, with approximately 330 returning to duty, while five sustained serious injuries. Earlier claims from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard suggested over 680 US military personnel had been killed or wounded since the start of the conflict.

The US and Israel have carried out airstrikes on Iranian targets, including the capital Tehran, since February 28. The attacks have caused significant civilian casualties and infrastructure damage, including the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several high-ranking military officials.

Iran has responded with counterstrikes against Israeli territory and US military facilities in the region.

Washington and Tel Aviv have justified the operations as preemptive measures in response to perceived threats from Iran’s nuclear program, citing an intent to influence Iran’s leadership.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the US-Israeli military campaign and called for immediate de-escalation and cessation of hostilities.
