Hungarian Prime Minister (PM) Viktor Orbán warned Ukraine on Saturday that he might halt electricity supplies if Kyiv does not resume the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline.
According to the Russian news agency TASS, Orbán stated: "A large part of Ukraine's electricity comes from Hungary, and if we stop supplying it, it will be a major problem.
The Slovaks raised this issue yesterday, and if necessary, we will take this step."
Orbán added that, in response to Ukraine's "hostile actions," Hungary has already suspended its supply of diesel fuel and blocked a European Union military loan worth 90 billion euros.
