Oppo Unveils K6 Version with 5G Network

Oppo launched its smartphone  K6 5G which brings 5G networks to medium phones. It supports the fifth generation networks thanks to its Snapdragon 765G processor, which comes with 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB or 256 GB internal storage. Programmatically, the phone is running Android 10 OS.

Also, it offers a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with FHD + accuracy, and it has a fingerprint sensor under it, as well as a cut for the 32-megapixel front camera. On the back, there are four cameras. It contains a 4,025 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging technology via the USB-C port.

According to the firm, the phone supports NFC technology, and Hyper Boost 3.0 technology to improve gaming performance, and it also comes with Link Boost 2.0 technology that uses both 5G networks and Wi-Fi networks to improve network speeds.

Later, Oppo Reno 4 Pro and Reno 4 phones launched in China. The phones come with triple camera setups at the back, accompanied by a laser detection auto-focus lens. The  Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro phones are powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC, bringing 5G network connectivity. The two phones also offer 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging support. The  Reno 4 Pro has superior camera specifications than the  Reno 4. However, the  Reno 4 also has a few key features like dual selfie cameras and a slightly larger battery.

The Chinese giant has confirmed that the  Reno 4 Pro and  Reno 4 phones will launch in India as well. The Indian variants are expected to come with more localised features.

According to Oppo firm, Reno 4 Pro runs on Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 operating system. It features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

The Oppo Reno 4 Pro has a triple camera setup at the back with a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera. There is a laser detection autofocus lens as well on board.

Noteworthy, Oppo announced a successor in the Ace series of smartphones in China. Dubbed as the Oppo Ace 2, it is the fastest wireless charging smartphone in the world currently.

Ace 2 adds 40W AirVOOC fast wireless charging. Oppo has also revamped the series a bit, in terms of its positioning in the portfolio and branding as well.

Also, Oppo Ace 2 features a 6.5-inch (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. The touch sampling rate is 180Hz and the display supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Maximum brightness can go up to 1,100 nits, according to the company’s press release.

It runs on Android 10 based on ColorOS 7.1. More than that, it has 12GB of RAM and memory storage of 256 GB for more convenient saving of music, files, movies, and even for gaming.

According to TechRadar reports, the new version has four camera sensors– two of them as the main cameras. They are powered with the 48-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and 2-megapixel macro and depth sensors.
