Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, the energy minister for Saudi Arabia, said in an interview with Energy Intelligence on Tuesday (March 14) that the Opec+ alliance will uphold the production limits decided in October through the end of the year.

There are still some who believe we would change the deal. I tell them we need to show them our devotion to the current deal on Friday, December 29, 2023.

The Opec Senate's planned NOPEC bill, according to Prince Abdulaziz, is distinct from the price limitations placed on Moscow by Western nations as a result of the invasion of Ukraine, but it might still have an impact on the oil market.
