Kidnapping crimes in the entire world are among the most difficult crimes that any police apparatus can encounter.

Sincere thanks and appreciation to our heroes in the Egyptian police for liberating the kidnapped child of Al Gharbia whose story shocked Egypt for the past 48 hours.

This case proves that our country and our people are in safe hands.

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior published today, Tuesday, a video clip showing the freeing of the child kidnapped by 3 three people two days ago.

The speed of the Ministry of Interior in arresting the accused and liberating the child from his kidnappers is a decisive message that the Egyptian police are capable of deterring anyone who may be tempted to jeopardize the security and tranquility of citizens.

Salute to the Egyptian Police

Over the past two days, a number of social media users circulated a clip filmed by surveillance cameras of three people in a car who kidnapped one of the children while he was with his mother.

The video clip showed the kidnapping of the child in front of his home in the city of Mahalla al-Kubra, in the Gharbia Governorate, in the Delta of Egypt, and dragging his mother into the street, while she was trying to save him, which sparked widespread anger on social media.

In a statement, the Police stated that after reporting the kidnapping, a research team was formed, headed by the two sectors (National Security and Public Security) with the participation of the concerned sectors of the ministry.

The statement pointed out that the defendants confessed to committing the incident, and one of them admitted that because he knew that the child's father was a food trader, believing that he was rich, which prompted him to agree with others to commit the kidnapping of the child and blackmail his father to obtain sums of money.
