Ongoing Israeli Assault on Gaza: Airstrikes on Central Region Mark Day 77 of Conflict

Palestinian media sources report that a series of Israeli airstrikes have targeted the central region of the Gaza Strip. This information comes from Cairo's news channel, according to their latest updates.

The Israeli forces continue their aggression on Gaza, now entering its 77th day. The health authorities in the region are struggling to tally the number of casualties, while the survivors, who narrowly escaped the bombing, face the threat of starvation.

The death toll due to the Israeli offensive in Gaza has risen to 20,057, including 8,000 children. The number of injured has reached 53,320 since the onset of the assault on the region on October 7th, as announced by the health authorities in Gaza. In a statement released this Friday morning, they recorded 390 deaths and 734 injuries in the Strip over the past 48 hours.

According to Palestinian statistics, approximately 6,700 people are still missing under the rubble. Furthermore, around 70% of residential units in Gaza have been destroyed as a result of the ongoing conflict.
