"Sputnik", a Russian news agency, revealed that about one million Israelis are still refusing to receive vaccination against the Coronavirus (known also as COVID-19).

It is worth noting that the Jewish ultra-orthodox community in Israel is reluctant to abide by restrictions and other precautionary measurements related to the pandemic.

On the other hand, dozens of Israelis gathered in front of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's residence in Raanana town in the Middle of Israel (occupied Palestine).

The demonstrators protested against remarks made by Bennett about those who refuse to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Clashes broke out between the protesters and the Israeli police after they obstructed traffic and disturbed public order, according to police allegations, according to the official KAN channel.

The Israeli police arrested 5 demonstrators, claiming that they attacked its members.

Police said the protesters insisted on demonstrating in front of Bennett's residence and refused to move to the protest site that had been approved for use in the area until instructions were given to evacuate them.

Yesterday, Thursday, the Israeli Prime Minister said in a statement to the media that rejecting vaccination endangers the health and the environment, the freedom of all citizens of Israel, our freedom to work, the freedom of our children to study, and the freedom to celebrate family joys. Those who refuse to be vaccinated harm us all, because if everyone is vaccinated, everyone will be able to maintain their daily routine."

He stressed that there is no reason for taxpayers and those who have fulfilled their civic duty to receive the vaccination to fund the examinations of those who refuse

So far, 5 million and 283,000 Israelis have received the vaccination against the Coronavirus, while Israel began a few weeks ago to vaccinate the age group between 12-18 years.

However, the rates of corona infection have increased again in Israel during the recent period, with the outbreak of the Indian strain of the pandemic.
