At least one person was killed and around a dozen others injured after a tornado struck a community on the Texas Gulf Coast on Saturday.
Officials said the hurricane damaged several buildings and knocked down power lines.

A huge thunderstorm struck Laguna Heights, near South Padre Island and surrounding communities, such as Port Isabel, at around 4 a.m.
The Port Isabel police said 10 people were injured, two of them in critical condition. The others had minor injuries.
