On World Music Day, Yehya Khalil to Headline Jazz Show at Cairo Opera House

On World Music Day, Egyptian Jazz pioneer Yehya Khalil will headline a jazz show at Cairo Opera House on Sunday. The concert will take place at the Fountain Venue.

Several international artists will share the stage with the Jazz legend such as Omar Al Farouk, and Oud Duet: Dina & Ghassan, alongside other European and Arab artists. The program includes several world Jazz compositions.

Khalil is the first artist who introduces jazz music in Egypt and the Middle East. He also combines the patterns of jazz with folk Egyptian music; moreover, he headlined various world tours and participated in several international festivals.

The total of his live performances is more than five thousand performances in more than 200 cities around the world. The artist succeeded in creating a wide fan base of all ages and all countries.
