President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed Egypt’s complete rejection of the displacement of Palestinians from their lands in Sinai or any other place from the very start of the Israeli war on Gaza as he addressed the nation on the 42nd anniversary of the liberation of Sinai.

The president emphasized Egypt's unwavering stance on rejection of displacement aims to prevent eradicating the Palestinian cause and protect Egyptian national security.

He also highlighted Egypt’s unyielding efforts to achieve a ceasefire and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Meanwhile, Egypt and the international community have warned about the humanitarian catastrophic consequences of a planned Israeli operation in Rafah, currently a refuge for 1.4 million Palestinians.

Moreover, Egypt is concerned that the operation will push the Gazan population in the city to Egypt through the border, a matter that Egypt has emphasized to be a “red line.”
