On Saturday, Baheya Hospital organized a new year's celebration for cancer warriors. The hospital named the event Happiness Day to bring joy and support to women who have strong battles against cancer.
A number of presents have been distributed among the fighters and they were gifted by a number of fashion designers such as Hany El Behairy, and Naima Kamel, alongside stylist Gihan Haridy, and TV presenter Eman Riyad who presented the tributes.
In addition, the Egyptian Clothing Bank was honored as it provides "Baheya Boutique" with its needs.
The day is a part of the supporting programs for the hospital's cancer fighters as the boutique provides them with their needs.
Its establishment was suggested by Riyad and backed by Kamil to give the cancer warriors the required clothes during the treatments and to help them to look better in their hard times.
During the event, El Behairy delivered a supportive message to the ladies in which he gifted a bride-to-be lady in the hospital a wedding dress.
He also announced that he will organize a fashion show at the hospital's branch in Sheikh Zayed and donating with its revenues to the hospital, therefore, he called all fashion designers to join the initiative. Kamel was one of the earliest to answer.
The event will be in the first week of March.
In addition, Mrs. Rania George wore the custom of Santa to distribute the gifts which added a more festive mood to the event.
