On Its 100th Anniversary... Sisi Hails CPC's Significant Achievements

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi congratulated Thursday the Chinese president and people on the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

In a televised statement, Sisi said that CPC is a great political edifice that successfully led China and managed to make significant achievements. Moreover, he added that the Chinese experience represents a success story that many seek to study and benefit from.

Sisi also noted that, during his recurring meetings with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, they both pledged to advance bilateral ties between the two countries.

In addition, the Egyptian President stressed that the Coronavirus pandemic crisis has proven that cooperation among countries and the ability to achieve integration and harmony at various levels are important factors to ensure the stability and safety of the international community.

"All efforts should be made to work on exchanging successful experiences and to support national capabilities in facing international challenges," Sisi added.

Moreover, Egypt's head of state praised the positive role played by the Chinese government in supporting the Egyptian capabilities in facing the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic spread.

Sisi added that Egypt was the first Arab, African, and Middle Eastern country to recognize the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the CPC's achievements and to establish diplomatic relations with it, noting that next May 30 will mark the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Egypt.
