His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq Oman’s Sultan called for stronger regional and international coordination to pursue diplomatic solutions aimed at stopping the military escalation in the region and preventing further threats to stability and security.

According to Omani officials, the sultan made the remarks during phone calls with Felipe VI and Philippe, stressing the importance of dialogue and peaceful engagement to defuse tensions.

Separately, Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi met Arab ambassadors accredited to Oman, outlining Muscat’s position calling for coordinated Arab action and increased political and diplomatic pressure to halt the war and contain its consequences.

Speaking during an extraordinary ministerial meeting of the Arab League held via videoconference, Al Busaidi warned that the ongoing conflict could trigger serious political, economic and security repercussions, urging intensified diplomatic efforts to reach a peaceful solution that safeguards regional stability.
