The high-profile delegation accompanying the Sultan includes Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, and Minister of the Sultan's Office, Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, among others.
This visit is of great significance as it marks the Sultan's first official visit to Egypt since taking office in January 2020.
Oman was an active participant in the recent Arab Summit in Jeddah, which aimed to repair the Arab house and reinforce Arab aspirations. Oman's Ambassador to Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Abdullah bin Nasser Al Rahbi, confirmed the historic nature of this visit.
