Abdullah bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Oman’s ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative to the Arab League, met with Fayez Mustafa, Assistant Secretary-General and head of the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Sector, to review ongoing regional developments.
The two officials exchanged views on the war unfolding in the region and diplomatic efforts undertaken by the Oman to prevent escalation and avoid further deterioration.
They also discussed several political issues of mutual concern to enhance Arab coordination on key regional challenges.
The meeting addressed the difficult humanitarian conditions facing the Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip, amid continued Israeli military operations.
Both sides underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation between Oman’s delegation and the Palestine sector at the Arab League to support unified Arab action on the Palestinian cause.
