Oman’s ambassador to Egypt, Abdullah bin Nasser Al Rahbi, said an upcoming international health care and medical tourism conference will serve as a key platform to strengthen health and investment cooperation between Oman and Egypt.
Speaking at a press conference in Cairo on Monday, Al Rahbi announced that the International Exhibition and Conference on Health Care and Medical Tourism will be held in Muscat from April 20 to 22, 2026. The event is organized in cooperation with Oman’s Ministry of Health and Asas Global.
Al Rahbi said launching the event from Egypt reflects its regional standing and the strong fraternal ties between the two countries. He noted the conference aligns with Oman Vision 2040, highlighting priority sectors including pharmaceuticals, health care, and medical tourism.
The forum will bring together policymakers, investors, and experts to showcase advanced medical technologies, attract regional and international investment, and foster public-private partnerships, reinforcing Oman’s role as an emerging regional hub in health industries and medical tourism.
