President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee Hesham Hatab affirmed that suspending Mortada Mansour, former president of Zamalek SC, from practicing any sporting activity for a period of 4 years is considered a final decision after Mansour had waived his right to appeal against it.
Hatab said in statements to On Time Sports channel in the early hours of Tuesday morning: "Mortada Mansour's suspension is final. He could have appealed and defended himself, but he waived his right, so the decision became final."
"The former president of Zamalek cannot appeal the suspension decision as the period that grants him the right to appeal has already ended. He had to appeal and resort to the court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), but he did not take the disciplined path." he added.
"Zamalek club was not even touched. We appreciate the white club as a great entity and there is no disagreement on that, but we are talking about every person who breaks the law, and it is not only related to the board of directors of Zamalek." he concluded.
