An oil tank exploded at the Hodeidah port in western Yemen today, a week after Israeli airstrikes targeted the port.
Local sources reported that tank number 38, containing petrol, at the Hodeidah oil facilities, exploded and flames erupted from it, just two days after extinguishing the fires caused by last Saturday's attack.
Israeli aircraft conducted several airstrikes last Saturday in and around Hodeidah port in Yemen. The Israeli military stated that the operation targeted Houthi military objectives and was a response to hundreds of attacks carried out against Israel in recent months.
The bombing caused significant damage to the port, with most of the fuel tanks catching fire and burning for five days. The Houthi authorities announced that the fires were extinguished later.
