Global oil prices rose Thursday, and by the end of trading Brent crude futures rose by 0.36%, equivalent to 28 cents, to $79.74 a barrel.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures prices rose 0.37% to $75.63 a barrel.
Meantime, Iraqi Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani affirmed that his country welcomes cooperation, partnership and investment with Saudi Arabia to develop the oil and energy sector.
